CGD in Europe is pleased to welcome the newest member of our team, Petra Krylová, who is joining us from the Palacký University of Olomouc in the Czech Republic. Petra will be working on the Commitment to Development Index and on the Europe Beyond Aid programme.

That’s as good an excuse as any for a party, so please come to meet Petra and the rest of the CGD Europe team this Tuesday evening (6 August) from 6pm at the The Rooftop Café near the Shard. There is no charge for admission, but you’ll have to buy your own drinks and food. We’ve reserved the whole venue, so please sign up here so we know to expect you.  The cafe – which is part of a start-up incubator – has an outside terrace with 360 degree views over London, and if the weather is good we’ll have a barbecue. Whether you are young, young-ish, or young-at-heart, you’ll be most welcome.

  1. Curses! My undying commitment to my Tuesday night pub quiz time scuppers the networking that could rescue my career once again. Ah well. Better win the damn quiz then.
